Domingo Fantástico VII
I am pleased to present a new edition of Domingo Fantástico, a music and variety show series held at Donau115. Inspired by the great weekend television shows that shaped generations across Latin America and Spain, this event celebrates the diversity and creativity of the Spanish-speaking community in Berlin.
In this edition, we will travel through Mexico with three musical projects that, from different perspectives and artistic paths, keep alive the connection between tradition, identity, and contemporary creation.
The evening will feature Frieda, a singer, songwriter, and producer from Mexico City whose music embodies the spirit of neo-Mexicanity, bringing together Mexican folklore and contemporary songwriting. In an intimate acoustic format, she will present songs that connect Mexico and Europe through stories, emotions, and memory.
We will also welcome Sauceedo, a musician from Monterrey, for whom creating music is a way to experience flow and peace of mind, sharing songs born from a sincere and personal artistic journey.
Completing the line-up is El Cuervo del Norte from Guadalajara, presenting a repertoire of regional Mexican music inspired by the tradition of the corrido, where popular stories, legends, and reflections on life and death come together.
An evening dedicated to the richness and diversity of Mexican music, celebrating its roots and its presence within Berlin’s cultural scene.
