Domingo Fantástico X with Antajayú and Isa Otoya

I am pleased to present a new edition of Domingo Fantástico, the music and variety series held at Donau115. Inspired by the great weekend television shows that shaped generations across Latin America and Spain, this event celebrates diversity, creativity, and cultural exchange in Berlin.

This edition takes us from the roots of Andean music to contemporary explorations of Latin American music, bringing together two artistic approaches that combine tradition, experimentation and a personal perspective on sound.

Antajayú offers a musical journey through the Andes. Originally formed as a duo in Berlin and now a trio, the group combines violin and Andean instruments in a repertoire that brings together traditional folk music and original compositions. Their music also explores tango and Celtic traditions, with an energy close to rock. The name combines the words anta and ajayu, evoking the elements of earth and air. This duality reflects the dialogue between roots and new horizons that defines their sound.

Isa Otoya, a musical artist born in Lima and based in Berlin, has developed her own artistic voice as a singer-songwriter, composer and producer. Her music blends elements of Latin American traditions with electronic and pop sounds. After professional training in academic composition and singing in Peru, she moved to Europe in 2022 to study music production and sound engineering. She has independently produced two albums, De un Acorde (2021) and LLAR (2024), and is currently working on the post-production of her third album, scheduled for release in 2027. Her work spans songwriting, contemporary composition and instrumental pieces for interdisciplinary projects.

Another evening of music, stories, encounters and surprises at Donau115.
